Fat Bastard- So today everyone talked me into going home at lunch and getting my Fat Bastard costume for the Xbox challenge. I am happy I did, because I could now win an Xbox, and that would be great. It will go along with my Xbox shirt that I won from work. I haven't won anything since I won that shirt, so it might be nice.

Red Sox- The Red Sox won the World Series tonight. I am not sure how I feel about this as I am an A's and Giants fan. I wish one of those teams had made it to the playoffs.
Lack of Updates- I haven't been updating much lately with many pictures. I will be dressed as Fat Bastard this weekend for the Hallween party, so I'll probably have some good pictures to share.
Jazz and Kings- So I went to the Kings @ Jazz preseason game on Friday night. The Jazz won 101-88. The game was close until the 4th quarter, when the Jazz pulled away and wrapped it up. Sacramento was without three of their best starters; Webber, Christie and Stojakovic. It was a good game regardless, some pictures can be found at this link.
Working- I got to work today and it's been pretty busy. It's raining outside and has been pretty wet and cold since Friday. It will be a long work week if it is busy, but it's died down and for the time being it is slow.
Jazz Kicking Ass- So I went to the Jazz game last night vs. the Knicks during Preseason. I took some pictures at the game. I got some good pictures too. I posted on the Jazzhoops forum, and already lots of people have come to look at them.
I'll be taking more at the Kings game Friday. This is all for now.
Holy Crap, An Update- It's time for another update in the slakisdotcom blog. Football sucks, so we're not going to talk about it. I'm glad it's Basketball season now, so we should have more to talk about soon enough. I'm actually going to a Jazz game tonight.
New Pictures- There are new pictures up for the first time in a long time. The Random Pics Vol. 1 is mostly pictures I took at work, some of them are funnt. The next are Random Pics Vol. 2, which consist of some burnt processors and people building street lights across the street from my house.

Other Crap- So I should be adding some new pictures tomorrow and over the weekend. I'll take the Camera to work. It seems like whenever I don't have the camera, I always see exciting crap. Today I saw a pretty bad accident on the freeway, which the camera would have been nice.
Frizbay's Messenger Act of 2004- Check out Frizbay.com and read the Messenger Act of 2004. Some random person put it on alldumb.com, and he's been getting hundreds of hits a day because of it. Maybe they will see me too someday.
The Dirty Car- This is The Dirty Car Story. It all started as Dave was leaving work on Friday. Me and Captal D decided to walk him down to his car, since it was the weekend and we were all itching to get out of here.
When we got to the car, we noticed the usual layer of dust that coats most of Dave's stuff at work. I was talking to Dave and he had his back to his trunk. Capital D was busy trying to write something in the dust before Dave turned around and saw him writing. I remember talking with Dave about how many miles were on his car, so I had him show me his dashboard as a distraction.
We looked at his 218,000+ odometer and Capital D finished writing his sentences. He came to the drivers side and we asked Dave if he had a camera. He said No, then asked why. We laughed and walked away, came in and got back to Work. Dave had no idea what was on the back of his car.
The moral of this story- Don't leave dust on your car or people will write "I Wish My Wife Was This Dirty" in dust on your trunk.

Nothing New- I don't have anything new to post because I haven't been taking pictures. Football has sucked today, but Basketball starts soon which is nice. The Raiders are going to lose to the Colts. The Broncos and Packers don't play till later so we'll have to see about that.
Mozilla- I have switched from Microsoft's Internet Explorer to Mozilla as my primary browser. I like the new crap that it has and it looks nicer as well. One of my friends used it so I thought I would try it out.
New Team At Work- Tomorrow I start working on a new team. Me and Capital D got switched along with a lot of other people as well. All the sups got really screwed and now have to work weekends, but we still don't, for now. I have a funny story to post about the last day we were on Dave's team. Check back tomorrow for that, it is very funny. See you assholes at work tomorrow.
Today's Post- Today is Friday so that means the weekend starts as soon as I am off work. The pool table is going strong at home. My brother is bowling tonight so I should be able brush up on the skills before they get back.

The Pool Table - So today when I got off work, the pool table was setup and ready to go. I was suprised not to see my brother playing it. We took a couple shots, then left for the bank. I only had the crappy digital video camera, and I took one shot of the first shot. It's all I took, we didn't play much pool. Maybe we'll play more tomorrow.
For everyone who gets an email about the Raiders and Broncos game, you'll know what to do. We now have a pool table, horseshoe pit and dartboard, so there should be plenty to do. We even have an empty keg in case we need one, as you can see here. I'll send you the email sometime, if you people even read this.

What a good way to get off work. I leave and take the digital camera to my Dad, so he can take it camping. My mom tells me that my brother Chris, came over to get money my Grandma sent him to buy a pool table. Hell Yeah. She also tells me that when he is going to California next weekend to get another bar, he got tickets to the Broncos @ Raiders game. Which sucks, cause now he's going. Maybe I'll try to get tickets and fly out there, or throw a party at home with the new pool table.
So today I went to lunch with Capital D and J-Block. We went to the new Del Taco location on 5600 W. I ordered my usual Big Fat Taco Value Meal. Capital D got some big burrito, and J-Block order two Tacos Del Carbon.
He got the two tacos, which looked very large on the menu. Appearing next to the burritos, one would think they are around the same size. They are not, and this was false advertising. J-Block got his meal, looked at the Tacos Del Carbon, and was very disappointed.
After eating one of the palm-sized tacos, he went to the counter in disgust with the smallness of his mean. He complained it was too small, and looked nothing like the picture in the menu. They must have been expecting it. Using his so called "Jedi Mind Tricks," without any questioning or grief, they also gave him a burrito, free of charge. They also let him keep his Taco Del Carbon, which was very small anyways.
Moral of this story- If you order something at a fast food place, just because it is small does not mean they will give you more.
Well everyone, this is my last day off work. I have to work tomorrow for the first time since Tuesday, and don't have any more days scheduled off this week. Damn, I'm in for a long one.

slakis' nfl week 4 summary This weekend in the NFL was not that great. The Raiders lost and the Broncos won, which are the two key wekend points. One of the plus sides of the weekend was the Packers lost, which always makes me happy now that I know they are Becca's team. I shouldn't talk too much tough, as the Raiders lost to a shitty team too. Kerry "Interception and Fumble" Collins screwed it up for every.
