new movies from today- here's some new movies from today at work. i wasted most of my break time testing the camera for my cruise, making sure i will be able to record updates. that is all..
in case you are wondering, it is really claew're, but some still call it claearwater.
cruising after 7 work shifts- as the image says (as of 4.28.05), i only have 7 work shifts until i leave to go on a cruise. click the image at the main index for more information.. if i have internet access, i will be posting live video update message clips from the cruise ship. the live part all depends on if i have internet access or not. if i have none, the updates will not be live.
the countdown as started above. sorry for no new pictures, my dad has camera camping, probably no pictures until the video updates, but we'll see.
the slakisdotcom giant movie collection (updated) note: as of 4-30-05, the movies are gone to make room for more new movies (from cruise) that's all. - i've put together a few of the thousands of movie clips that i have that are funny and created a gallery for them.. a few tips before the links.
1. watch the movies with sound- make sure your sound is turned on and at a reasonably loud volume. they will be funnier if you hear them with loud sound.
2. download the movies, then watch them- to do this, right click and select "save target as" or "save link as" and save them on your computer. this will allow you to watch the movies without any pauses. the movies are viewable in windows media player, which is included in most versions of windows. i hate macintosh, so i don't know about mac's..

still training- i am still in training for claew're. i took my camera today for the first time since the last day i was on msn. i took quite a few pictures, probably because they day was so boring. go to this link here for the picture gallery. there are some good and crappy ones.
kings @ jazz pics / final home jazz game- the home season is now over. i wrote "the jazzcrap 2004-05 year in review" and it's available at jazzcrap.com. see it, it's good and everyone should at least read a bit of it. i don't know what i will do now that there are no jazz games. i haven't missed any of the 41 games. i was never late and i never even left early. that's a lot of games, 164 quarters of play. wow. go there now.
new old pictures- i found some pictures i took at work but never put on my website. i took them on 11-19-04. it was apparently another La Frontero Friday.. it was before madners quit even.. see this link here for more information. we don't go to la frontero much anymore. most of the people who went quit and the only people left that still work at TP are me dave and becca. dave doesn't like to go for a few reasons, you'll have to ask him about those..
saturday crap summary- i hung out with my friend jose today, who i have known since 2nd grade. i have known him longer than he has known english, he came over at a young age. the updates that be found at this link of random crap. enjoy.
working- i am kind of looking forward to returning to work on monday morning. i cannot say i ever felt that way when i worked on msn. that is amazing.
slakisdotcom's a look back at the past- i have just decided that i would like to pick a few historical documents from the slakisdotcom archives that i can classify as some of my favorites.. these should be fun to look back on, whether they are pictures or just blog entries.. here goes it..
First, flipping TP off from the air - on my way home from my grandpa's funeral in 2003, mark suggested to flip off the building from the air and take a picture of it. it was a wonderful idea and the picture turned out perfectly.
2003 - the the email team photo picture gallery, from the good old days of the classic email team.. wow, i really won't miss MSN at all, but the email team was the top of the mountain.. so long email team. The Email Team Spinaround Movie, another classic. viewed with windows media player, also best with sound. do not watch the movie without sound, let it all download first too. what a wonderful job that was.
2004 - The Pigeon Problem - at my old apartment downtown by the qwest building, we had pigeons living in groups on top of the building, outside my bedroom window. they would always wake me up early in the morning.
2004 - a big group of friends, my good friend Levi died in August 2004, he used to be my roommate when we lived in Orem. he moved into our house in november 2000, moved out in may 2002. we shared the basement together, my brother and 2 of our other friends upstairs. he died in a car accident in august 2004, a bunch of the old group of friends met in idaho for his funeral. we took a picture in the hotel room the night before his funeral, it was fun. this is the picture. i miss levi, he was my buddy.
the earliest post ever (after sleeping that is)- this is the earliest post i have ever made to the slakis blogger after i have been asleep. i don't wake up this early often, and only did because of training for the week for claew're. for those who don't know, the image above shows i am no longer on msn. i am now on the cla erw're project, see claea rw're.com for more information. i hope to put my skills and qualities to good use and help the project. ;-)

we beat the spurs- tonight we beat the spurs 93-91 on a late shot in the 4th quarter by memo with about 2 seconds left on the clock. find my pictures at jazzcrap.com. i am tired as shit because i have to be to work at 6 a.m. all this week, i am very tired now. good night.
driving to wendover on sunday- i drove out to wendover today in my mom's rental car to meet my parents. they went on a bus with some people who work with my mom. they go once a year but i never want to go as i don't drink much and don't like losing money. i made about $25 today, so it was nice. see my pictures at this link when you click here, but they kind of suck. i didn't take the camera inside the casino.
last day working on msn- no, it's not gone, it is still there. they now have a new project and i start training all next week at 6 am, that will suck. see this gallary here for my pictures of my last day working on msn.
lack of updates- sorry for the lack updates for anyone who cares. my sister took my digital camera to hang out with some of her friends on saturday, now it does not work anymore. it takes pictures, but you can't copy them off the memory card any way at all. it's screwed, i'll have a new camera soon.
blazers @ jazz pics- i took the camera to the blazers game on tuesday. i was thinking it was working until i tried to copy my pictures off of it. it just gave errors and the pictures could not be previewed either, so i figure the camera is really broken. someone from the jazzhoops.net message board sent me some pics from the 4th row he said i could use, so i put those up at jazzcrap.com for anyone who wants to see them.
last day on msn- this is my last day working for msn. i start on the clae arwire project on monday for training, have friday-sunday off work. that will be nice. so long, and i just have to say it, "MSN can go fuck yourself!"
