my dad shaved his beard- he's had almost my whole life, i can't remember him without i it. i think since before my sister was born - so 20 years? whoa. you can see his website too,
spiritmandave.com. here's some pics..

riding down in the elevator today with my parents.

my dad, before and after
new links to galleries- i decided to update the links here on the bottom left to my galleries.. they include links to
random pictures i have taken, as well as
cell phone pictures that i have taken. here are a few that i enjoy.. enjoy them yourself.

i never knew how much fun it would be to flip work off from the airplane.. this was in June-2003 coming back from Oakland on a Southwest 737, about to land at Salt Lake, just over my favorite place on earth, work (TP).

this is fairy, hard at work. (apparently)

yeah, most of the pictures in the cell phone gallery just have pictures of me and amanda.. sorry for all of those who think i should just move on, but it's fun to remember good times.
may 12th, 2005, a thursday- the stop of one year ago today on my cruise was
Cozumel, Mexico.. located just south of Cancun and on it's own island (
see here), Cozumel is known for it's blue waters and wonderful scuba diving.. i never scuba dove, and turned the waters a little yellow-greenish color (more on that later)... for lunch i had some nachos and guacamole, as well as a "sol". i asked for Corona, but they have no Corona. just sol. weird. it is mexico, isn't it?
as usual, click the picture to see a larger image, then close the window. enjoy the ride.

i woke up in the morning around 8:00 to see this, nice blue waters and a cruise ship in the pier next to us.. nice, warm, but crappy humid morning..

as i walked to breakfast, i took this picture at random. it noticed later it's a pretty good picture, the ships are seen where the yellow is, Senor Frogs is over to the left side, and the line i would stand in later in the afternoon for parasailing would be just along the fence to the right..

the ship i was on, the Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas, is seen here..

i wanted to buy this shirt, but all the mexican lady could find was medium.. we all know i am not medium.

the mexicans would come and dance and blow whistles really loudly as they ran around all crazy like, the whistles were very loud and annoying..

here i am at Senor Frogs in Cozumel, the ship can be seen in the very back..

i took this picture after parasailing was over and as the ship was sailing away from Cozumel.. so long Cozumel..so why was the water yellowish-green after? you'll have to ask me. i wonder how many people will really read this.. it's good - trust me..
one year ago, may 11th, 2005, a wednesday- here's some pictures from the cruise, one year ago today. our stop for the day was Costa Maya, Mexico.. there are some crazy mexican people in Costa Maya mexico.. that's for sure.. it was nicer than the stop the previous day, the Country of Belize.. you can Belize me on that.. haha.. anyways, see a few pictures below, or the
entire gallery, by clicking here. enjoy.
the pier was closed briefly and nobody could get off the ship while the other cruise ship below docked.. enjoy the few pictures of the docking / pier closure experience.

just after getting off the ship walking down the pier, in between 3 ships. ours on the left side.

there is a pool near the shops just off the pier, weirdos.. the cruise ship can be seen way in the background.

here i am in mexico with my brother.

stopping for a picture of the ships as i walk back, mine is on the right.

there's nothing like a late night loud band party poolside on the cruise ship deck as we sail in the middle of nowhere to the next port. fun times.
another year ago today post, may 10th, 2005- so one year ago today was a stop on our cruise in the country of Belize.. man, if you ever want to go to a shithole-of-a-country, head down to belize.. want to know where the hell belize is?
just click on this link, belize me. haha, get it, like belive me? haha. that's what they say in belize.

belize is the closest i've been to the equator and so humid, that once you go outside, the humidity fogs up your camera lens. taking pictures was hard. here is the cruise ship leaving for an excursion (not me, my dad took this picture).

some of the houses are built on stuilts to protect against termites. the houses are still pretty dumpy.

back on the cruise ship way later that night (and many drinks later), a big giant chunk of ice is found on the science section of the boat.

for some reason, the big giant cube of ice already had a hole on the side. yuck.enjoy the pics..
one year ago today, may 9th, 2005- ahh, i wish it was one year ago today again.. i was on a royal caribbean cruise to the caribbean, oh how i wish i could go back.. here's a few pictures i wanted to post that everyone can look at, just imagine you're on a cruise yourself.

eating breakfast with my brother and sister, wonderful views of the atlantic ocean out the window, sailing from miami to belize, near central america..

here's a little indian guy measuring me for my tux to have dinner that night.. that guy sure was friendly..

me, my dad and my brother in our dinner clothes, damn, just look at my tux.. snappy!

our waiter Erkan looked like Pee Wee Herman, his assistant Adrian was just a cool black dude.enjoy the pictures from one year ago!
super giant gatorade bottle work day- today on my lunch break early in the morning, we stopped at maverick on our way back from work. i saw an enormous gatorade bottle, the biggest bottle of gatorade i have ever seen in my life. i didn't even think it was legal to carry that much gatorade at once. total size was 64 oz's.
