the bush leaves - part 2- bush ran around town and caused havoc on traffic before leaving just after noon.. he slept the night at the grand america hotel and had a few functions this morning. i drove downtown this morning for some possible photo ops, but traffic sucked and i didn't get anywhere in a very long amount of time. i got a few pictures before driving out by the airport. i tried to get good photos of air force one, but still wasn't able to.. i got a few pics of the tail, but i got some of those last year. oh well.
the good pics came when i was up at my dad's condo up on the hill. i was watching the news up there and saw air force one depart from salt lake. i snapped a few photos. it was fun seeing it, even though i was so far away. enjoy the photos. click here for all of part 2's gallery

the bush arrives - part 1 - that's right.. and believe it or not, i got the best picture ever of air force one from my apartment. sweet, more on that later. i was hoping his plane would arrive in the daytime, but it was already dark by the time his plane touched down. i think it was 8:53pm or so. he spoke to a crowd and met some people, then his motorcade drove downtown to the grand america, where he'll be all night. i drove downtown a bit around 7:30 or so and took a few pictures of the hotel. as you can imagine, security is pretty tight. i heard air force one was leaving to hill air force for the night, but i also heard on the news it's staying there. i'll try to take a better picture of it tomorrow. click here for the entire the bush arrives gallery. enjoy the pictures, see the favorites below..

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby- i just got home from seeing, "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby." i would recommend that everyone go see this movie as soon as possible. if i had 3 thumbs, i would give it 3 thumbs up, but i don't, so i can only give it 2.. please go see it today. thanks.
burnt ass car pics- so my mom sends me an email while i'm at work today saying there's a car on fire in the parking lot behind their condo.. damn, why can't exciting shit like that happen when i am there doing laundry or something? i stopped by there to grab a bit to eat and take some pictures of it after work.. sweet.. enjoy, only 2 pics..
you can obviously see which car burnt.. the pretty sweet audi next to it also suffered some damage.. looks like the mirror is burnt a bit plus standing next to it, you could see the fender was screwed up as well.. too bad it's not still burning.
the car was on fire in the ampco parking lot near 200s 300w, right behind the Crane building.. i wonder how it started, probably just because it was a piece of shit car.

car on it's side pics- i'm on my way home from work today around 6:40 or so and i get off the freeway at 600n as usual.. i'm heading off the overpass and i see a car on it's side.. i took a few pictures of it with my phone.. see the pics below.. according to the slcpd.com website's online accidents section, here's a report - " 600 N 400 W, HIT AND RUN JUST OCC, 18:42 " wow.. i don't see how one car can be on it's side, and the other car is nowhere to be seen.. crazy.. here's the pics.. enjoy.. i'm gonna go try to take more..
so long 3rd floor, we're moving to the 1st floor- yeah, i'll really miss the 3rd floor.. i've been working on the 3rd floor on 3 different projects for like 4 and a half years.. i started on msn on the first floor, but was only down there about a month before coming to the 3rd.. so many memories on the 3rd, it's gonna suck not being up there with the nice view.. i guess not having to take the elevator will be nice though, but i'd rather have the good view. i had the camera today, click here for the pictures of today.. as usual, below are a few favorites...

no updates forever - what the hell? - yeah, there really haven't been many updates since early in July.. i have internet at my house again (it's been back for about a week or so) and i'll be posting some update sometime soon.. i'm boring lately and haven't thought of something clever to post.. i think we're moving from the 3rd floor at work to the 1st, so i'll have my camera at work sometime to get some last final memories of the 3rd floor. i will miss you 3rd floor..
