gonewire, leaving - for my many former co-workers, gonewire is leaving t.p. on august 10th.. that'll be the last day... i'm not sure where i'll go yet, but there will be a place for me somewhere.. we'll see what happens..

lack of updates - no comment..

two alarm house fire - i was driving home and stopped by to get gas and noticed a house fire near albertsons.. i stopped for gas, but no pumps on the side of the fire were open.. see the picture below, or the link from the news.. the link is called "Children rescued from burning Salt Lake City home"...


i took the picture while i was pumping gas. unfortunately, i was on the opposite side of the gas station.. i tried my best..

tree falls on my apartment, almost - i went home for lunch on Tuesday and noticed a tree had fallen over and was blocking the walkway from my apartment to the street.. if only it had happened while i was at home for lunch, and happened so it blocked my car in, then i could have had an extended lunch break.. oh well..

Jazz season ends - the Jazz season ended on Wednesday night in San Antonio, losing to the Spurs.. the series completely changed in the 4th quarter of Game 4 when the officials totally screwed us.. yeah, it might sound like i'm just a complaining Jazz fan, but a 25-2 free throw difference in one quarter is off the charts.. anyways, you can head to Jazzcrap.com to check the last of my pictures.. i'm still not sure if i'll be back there next season, we'll see.. it's been a great season..
