key bank tower implosion - the Key Bank Tower here in SLC was imploded early this morning to make way for a new construction project sponsored by the mormons (i'll never shop at the new mall).. anyways.. the implosion was pretty cool.. i mananged to stay awake all night and headed downtown to my parents condo and watched it from there on the roof.. total distance from the implosion site was about 3500ft (.67 mi).. the explosion happened at 6:38am and was much louder than i though it would be from as far away as it seemed we were.. got a few pics of it falling and the dust.. enjoy.. see the entire gallery at this link here.
